Presentation: Deploying SAS programs as Web Services

Greg Ludwinski, Statistics Canada

Through the use of web services, the power of SAS could be leveraged by a wide variety of client applications. This would provide a loosely coupled, platform & language independent solution to integration that is based on standards. Fortunately for us, the SAS BI Platform has a facility that makes it easy to expose Stored Processes as Web Services called SAS BI Web Services for Java. This presentation will showcase this feature of the platform and demonstrate how Stored Processes translate into Web Services.

Presentation: SAS Online Resources

Tom Kari, Tom Kari Consulting

One of the benefits of transitioning to a role as a private consultant is that I now have the time to read all of those SAS papers that were piling up! I'll demonstrate some of the online SAS resources that I've found helpful to stay up to date, to solve problems, and to learn new features of SAS. Never again will you be able to say that you can't find the answer!
